Last year, we put you on game to Sampha’s sultry vocals on another Humpday Hymn “Without”. Since then, he’s collaborated with Kanye West, and written on Beyonce’s latest offering as well.  He’s back on his own solo effort in this transcendent ballad that turns into a dance track midway. Anyway, I messed around and stumbled on this nasty remix by young Norwegian, Kygo. It was a remix of a slightly older British, James Blake. That was in turn a cover of Canadian songstress, Feist. In reverse order, all 3 are below to hold you off till the homie’s Morning Commutes

Monday Mood: Lady Leshurr – “Queens Speech 4” (Brush Your Teeth)

Sesame Street had the right idea, but Lady Leshurr put some grime on it. “is this that dope song from that Samsung commercial dissin iPhones?” Please don’t interrupt, but YES IT IS! The female British rapper’s definitely ‘holdin it down like a Snapchat’ on a big stage in her immediate catapult across the water to join fellow British artists. Turnip Tuesday – Krept & Konan – “Freak Of The Week” (Ft. Jeremih)

The British are coming, slowly but surely Caribbean influenced British raps is making its way across the Atlantic.  We already gave you the grime smash “Shutdown” with British-Nigerian Skepta.  The most notable of these brits is usually heard wearing the audio uniform of Grime, but these guys take it to the islands with the dancehall/reggae influence and the help of Chicago crooner Jeremih. TURN UP DEM!
